| HEY!!!! So, it has been forever it seems since my last post. LOL. I have been super busy with study for my chemistry test (which I took yesterday). I needed an A on it, but I didn't get it. That's OK, though, because it was a 10 point improvement from my last test, so that was something to be happy about. LOL. I have to get a 95 on my final to get a B in the class (yeah I know, life stinks sometimes). Anywho, that just means I have to shift some classes next semester and take Biology next fall. Sigh. LOL. Mom told me that if I made an A on the test, she would let me go down and see Chris, but obviously I didn't make that grade. I studied my butt off for the test though, and it was not like I didn't know the information. All my mistakes were stupid errors I corrected on the second try, or the questions were worded in such a way, that I thought they were asking for something other than what they were actually looking for. Confused? So was I. But, Mom felt pity on me and is letting me go see Chris, so I am super happy about that!!!!  Anyway, other than that, life is pretty good right now. All my other classes are going well, so I am not worried about losing HOPE or anything. But, I am going to have to stay on top of things so my grades don't slip at the end of the semester. Anyway, I am hungry and ready to go get some breakfast. 25 minutes!!! LOL. Later all!!!!  | | |
| Bonjour everyone!! I hope all UGAers had a wonderful Fall Break. LOL. I spent mine cleaning and painting and rearranging my room. It was fun though, although it took much of my time. Hehe. I did manage to get some Chemistry studying done, although I am going to have to buckle down this week loads to make sure I get a decent grade on the next test. BECAUSE, if I do, I get to see Chris (whom I haven't seen in over a month and miss bunches)!!! LOL. Anyway, Halloween was great. We handed out candy to roughly 370 people. LOL. David and I always like to keep a rough tally because people come here in masses. Hehe. Anyway, I hope everyone else has had a wonderful few days. Let me know what yawl did over the Fall "break." | So, Art classes are stupid. I especially don't like Art teachers who are not in class for two weeks and still test us on material she covered two weeks ago on the day she returns!! Crazy Art teachers! LOL. So, we had a test in Art today (if you couldn't guess) and it was OK. I think I made a B, which makes me sad because I wanted an A. LOL. But, considering no one in our class had to foggiest idea what to study about the paintings we were required to know, I don't feel that bad. Hehe. Anyway, my weekend was OK. I had to work, but work was slow so I had time to chit-chat, which is always nice. I took a couple of naps, both of which were nice as well. Mom bought me a new purse, which is very pretty and I like it muches!! LOL. So, I don't have any more tests until Fall Break.
FALL BREAK!!!! I am sooo glad we get two days out of school. LOL. I am going to clean my room and start studying for my chemistry test two weeks from now, but at least I don't have to drive to school and be on campus for two days. I am very happy about that. I think on Thursday morning I am going to get up early and go to the DMV and get my license changed so I am legally aloud to drive anytime, and to change my awful picture (those of you who have seen the picture know what I am talking about). LOL. But yeah, I am just waiting to go to Tate with Christy and Caitlin, so I am going to go play some more. Bye!!! | | |
| I am just sitting here in SOM and I am bored. My 8 o'clock was cancelled again!!! Grrr. Why can she not just send out an email to our class and tell us it's cancelled the night before because I could have slept for a couple more hours and been at school with PLENTY of time before my 12:30 class. Sigh. Oh well, I guess I just do some studying or something. So, I have to work today (fun fun) but it shouldn't be too bad. National Boss' Day was Sunday so do forget to wish Boss' and happy Boss' Day!! LOL. I gave mine a really funny card that basically praised his entire staff but not his management of the department. I liked it. LOL. Anyway, I am waiting on an important email from my Mom, so I am going to go check on that. Later all. I hope everyone has wonderful days!!! | | |
| So, today has been a day of mishaps. One after the other. So, I leave for school this morning and it's crazy foggy outside. Fine. I can deal with that. Then, as I am trying to get onto the Loop to get to school, the Short Bus (yes of the yellow variety) almost crashes into my car by trying to come into my lane and like 10 seconds later a car from Montana cuts in front of me on the turning lane to get onto the Loop. Problem with that: there was not enough room for his car to fit between me and the car in front of me and I had to slam on my brakes to stop his back end from smashing my front!!!! So, life starts off stressful for me. So, I get to school without dying, only by the grace of God at the rate I was going, and I park. I put my keys in my purse and get out of the car to go around and get my stuff from the passenger side and locked EVERYTHING in the car, except me. So, I am freaking out because my car is no where near a pay phone (not that I had money to use one) or a UGA building. So, I walked to the nearest building for UGA (Global Studies) and find someone so I can use the phone. Mom gets lost on her way to bring the spare key and I don't get into my car until about 9:15. My class started at 9 and I still had to walk from my car to the bus and then take the bus to class (roughly 10-15 minutes). I would have gotten into class with like 8 minutes until it was over, so I didn't go. One of my car tires was almost completely flat, so I put air in the tires and went to Target with Mom and bought a cute Halloween card with candy corns hugging on the front. Anyway, I go back to school for chemistry lab, I had to reprint some stuff for my prelab because I did it wrong, and on the lab we end up doing some stuff wrong we never should have gotten wrong (I am not going to says whose fault that was because it wasn't mine for once). So, we get out of class early and I pass like every cop from UGA to Winder (which was nice only in Statham because all the Statham police were in one spot). So, when I got home I prayed that the day would be decent because I still have work tonight! LOL. Anyway, if anyone can top my day, I'd love to hear about it. I'm laughing about it now, but it wasn't very funny this morning. LOL. I hope people had much better days than I did. Later all! | | |
